Beacon of Hope is a registered Faith and Community based Non Governmental Organization in Kenya, it was formed to address the problem of HIV/Aids pandemic among women in poor communities.

The mission of BOH is to bring hope to women living with and affected by HIV/AIDS within poor communities by empowering and equipping them to meet their spiritual, physical, emotional and economic needs.

Beacon submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and is committed to applying Biblical principles in all its operations, embracing the values of commitment to serve, integrity, confidentiality, team work, Beacon of Hope offers a holistic program in that women not only have their physical and financial needs met, but are also strengthened in their faith. As the women become economically empowered, they also are helped to overcome hopelessness by pointing them to Jesus Christ.

Our programs are designed in a way that ensures the women and orphaned children are provided with future opportunities. They receive training from experts in various fields. These programs empower both women and children legally, spiritually and economically making them more productive in society.

The programs are provided at no cost to the Kware women slum dwellers and orphaned children. We anticipate the need for more programs as we expand our role in the Ongata Rongai community and adjacent regions. The programs will be offered as required by the women and children spirit, compassion and professionalism
