Sanabora Design House was established way back in 2003 with an aim of achieving prosperity and improving society’s well being through design. Sanabora is located at Aqua Plaza, Muranga Road Nairobi, where a team of 15 full-time staff, work round the clock to create viable business solutions that are beneficial to our partners and Sanabora as an organization.

Sanabora is a direct translation of the English words – very good. Their main purpose is to offer professional support to organizations and creative enterprises in Kenya towards realizing innovative products for various markets. With a pool of business and design professionals, Sanabora partners with designers and over 50 creative enterprises in producing and showcasing innovative products that are aimed at paving way for Kenya in the global market.

Through implementation of their philosophy: ‘Socio-cultural, Economic & Ecological prosperity through design’, they are committed to enabling small-scale enterprises access local and international markets for their products, as a way of contributing towards their socio-economic well-being.

Sanabora is established with Production, Graphic Design and Marketing departments committed to offer technical support to producers, in line with Fair Trade principles so as to ensure high quality and high value goods that secure a place in modern markets.

To achieve the above, Sanabora offers Product development & marketing training tailored to assist producers to participate effectively in developing thousands of new products required by consumers each year. The training emphasizes on adherence to fair working practices, creativity, innovation, value addition, quality management and presentation of products.

Sanabora main product lines include, Textile & woven products with a bias on bags and accessories, Handcrafted home accents made from mixed media that include metal, stone, fibers, ceramics glass etc. Hand crafted artifacts and collectables. Jewellery made from indigenous materials
