Getrade an export house for Ghana small scale producers was founded in 1986,the Handicraft export came into existence 1991, they have been dealing with export handling for members and partners, Marketing ,Freight services and Domestic Sales.

At Getrade they produce Bolga baskets, Woodcarvings – toys (oware), furniture (stools), authentique African art, musical instruments, drums, and xylophone and rhythm instruments. They also have foods like lemongrass tea, cinnamon leave tea, hibiscus tea.

Membership has since grown upto 28 members, where there aims and objectives are improved rationalization and production effectiveness in order to reduce costs.
Products are marketable and a new product line was launched in 2004 mainly the Authentique African collection.

In order to strengthen participation and responsibility social and Welfare departments have been formed in the society. The Board consists of 7 members elected by the AGM; it is the main decision taking body.
Getrade has introduced programmes, The School fund programme is 10 years, and the other is the Straw programme.
